Senior Managing Director, Data & Technology for Ankura, as our speakers for June, presenting “THE NEW NORMAL: Artificial Intelligence and its Ethical Implications” to cover Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its applications in the practice of law; and the ethical implications of AI in the practice of law.

We are very pleased to have as our September speaker, Joanna Storey Mishler, Senior Counsel with Rosing, Pott & Strohbehn, who will present “Legal Ethics Lessons Learned From Fictional Attorneys." During this entertaining and worthwhile program, our speaker will use scenes from films and television shows that depict fictional attorneys involved with thorny, or not so thorny, legal ethics issues, and then discuss how California Rules of Professional Conduct would apply to the situation, and whether the attorney got it wrong or right.

Summer Stephan, District Attorney for the County of San Diego, and Frank T. Jackson, Chief Deputy District Attorney for the County of San Diego, will present a program on, “The Challenges and Opportunities for Artificial Intelligence in Courts & What you Need to Know about the New Proposition 36 Laws." 

Our November speaker is ROXANA FOXX, Founder and CEO of Hunter International; a San Diego based firm which for 40 years has specialized in mergers and acquisitions of law firms and lateral partner recruiting and placement.
