In this program, Mr. McIntyre will discuss some  of the important new civil cases published by California courts in 2021. The California Supreme Court published 22 new civil and family law cases in 2021, and the California Courts of Appeal published 483 new civil and family law cases in 2021.

We are very pleased to have as our June speaker, Pasadena Ethics Attorney Erin Joyce, Erin Joyce Law, PC. Ms. Joyce was a State Bar prosecutor for 18 years, prior to founding her own law firm 6 years ago. An expert in legal ethics, Ms. Joyce has extensive experience in State Bar investigations and disciplinary proceedings, having tried dozens of State Bar trials and several appeals. Our speaker will draw on her extensive experience in presenting the upcoming ETHICS presentation, " How to Avoid a State Bar Complaint" which is certain to provide participants with information essential to their practice.

Our speaker this month is attorney ERIC TOWNSEND, Law Eagles, P.C., whose practice focuses on representing personal injury victims, property damage claimants, and clients in insurance claims litigation, including bad faith litigation. Mr. Townsend will present LITIGATING FIRST PARTY INSURANCE CLAIMS, in which he will cover assessment of claims, evaluation of damages, and what Plaintiffs need to prove to obtain recovery.
