Message from 2026 La Jolla Bar Association President, Joseph Mellano
Dear Members,
Welcome to the La Jolla Bar Association. I am honored to be your President for 2026. Since its founding in 1984, our closeknit organization has prided itself on its commitment to civility and professional development and its deep ties to the La Jolla community.
I would like to thank our outgoing president, Paul Neuharth, Jr., for his service and continued guidance and support. Thanks also to our past and present directors, officers, and committee members for all they have done and continue to do in managing our operations. Finally and most importantly, thank you to our members. Our organization exists both for and because of you. You are leading attorneys in your fields, and many of you volunteer their knowledge and experience by presenting to other members at monthly meetings. That we can offer significant educational, networking, and support programs at relatively low cost to members allows the La Jolla Bar Association to remain a fixture in the local legal community.
Please do not hesitate to contact me or any other Director or Officer if you have any questions, would like to contribute to our wonderful organization in any way, or have any suggestions for our programming or other offerings.
I look forward to a great 2026 and seeing all of you at our events!
