We are pleased to have as our October speaker, Civil Trial Attorney CLAUDE E. DUCLOUX presenting “Conflict Contracts, and Costs: Running the Ethical Office in the 21st Century," in which he will address ethical rules related to practice and client relations, as well as best practices for communication, billing, civility and resolution of contract disputes.

We are very pleased to have as our September speakers, CAROLE J. BUCKNER and IREAN Z. SWAN, attorneys with the San Diego office of KLINEDINST, P.C., who will discuss Professional Rule of Conduct 8.3, which took effect on August 1st this year, and potential issues and problems which that could accompany the implementation of this new Rule.

NEUHARTH, JR., a past President and current Director of our bar association, presenting “THE FIRST 72 HOURS AFTER ARREST – what all attorneys will want to know to tell family and friends when you get a call in the middle of the night.“ A well known and highly respected member of the California Criminal Defense Bar, with dual expertise in criminal and administrative law proceedings and hearings, Paul will share with us his knowledge and insights gained from 34 years as an attorney representing clients in criminal and administrative cases, hearings and trials, and from his 7 years as a California State Law Enforcement Officer (while concurrently earning undergraduate and juris doctorate degrees).
