Megan Moore attended the University of Florida, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts (Honors) in English; a minor in Secondary Education; and which she supplemented with courses in both theater and public speaking.
Following graduation, Megan spent 3 years in Ponce, Puerto Rico, where she taught Drama, Public Speaking, and English Literature at the Caribbean School. She then relocated to San Diego, California, where she entered the corporate world, working with start-up Edvision Corporation. Advancing through its management team, Megan spent 4 years overseeing creation of the company’s reading and language arts curriculum, and the development of its assessment tools.
Desiring to expand her knowledge and opportunities beyond the corporate world, Megan headed to law school, attending the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law. At McGeorge, she earned numerous awards and scholarships; and graduated (2008), with Great Distinction, and Order of the Coif.
Megan then returned to San Diego, where she practiced law at Best, Best & Krieger, LLP (2008-2012). During 2012, she affiliated with the firm Young, Minney & Corr, LLP, opening its flagship San Diego office, and and became a partner at that firm in 2017.
Thereafter, Megan launched The Law Offices of Megan M. Moore, where she continued representing her public school clients. After two successful years in solo practice, Megan decided to pivot into a career where she could use her listening, advocacy, and education skills to inspire growth and change in others.
Megan earned her professional coaching certification from McLaren Coaching in January 2021, while simultaneously launching Megan Moore, Inc.
Megan now primarily devotes her talents and abilities to helping attorneys and law firms build their professional skills; improve their communication and connection with their firm’s teams and/or staff; improving time management and accountability for results; counseling and teaching attorneys and their teams the art of building business relationships that go beyond the formal work relationship, so that they become strong personal relationships as well. Additionally, Megan offers feedback and critique to professionals regarding their own presentations, workshops, or new services that they are preparing to launch.
Throughout her assistance of professionals, Megan maintains focus on attorneys’ ongoing need to control and balance between work and personal life; and to create greater harmony in their lives without jeopardizing their careers.
