Alison’s practice includes employment and business litigation, and focuses on assisting employers with allegations of wrongful termination, harassment, discrimination, misclassification, wage and hour violations, and related issues. Prior to joining Ogletree Deakins, Alison worked at a firm in downtown San Diego where she acquired hands-on litigation experience in employment, business, and other matters, including cases before the California Court of Appeal and California Supreme Court, two of which resulted in published opinions.
Alison graduated cum laude from the University of San Diego School of Law. While at USD, she served as an Executive Editor of the San Diego International Law Journal and competed as an Associate on the Appellate Moot Court Board. Also during law school, Alison gained experience as a Judicial Extern for the Honorable Anthony J. Battaglia at the United States District Court for the Southern District of California.
Alison Adelman earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Connecticut. There, she obtained a B.S. in Business, cum laude, and pitched for the Division 1 softball team all four years. Alison also played softball locally in high school, and upon graduation, the school retired her jersey number and later inducted her into the Sports Hall of Fame.
A lifelong native of San Diego, in her personal time Alison enjoys the beach, following the Padres, and spending time with her family and dogs.
