LA JOLLA BAR ASSOCIATION MCLE LUNCHEON ON THURSDAY, JULY 9, 2015, AT NOON
The next lunch meeting of the La Jolla Bar Association will be on Thursday, July 9, 2015 @ 12:00 noon, at the Manhattan of La Jolla restaurant, located within the Empress Hotel, 7766 Fay Ave, La Jolla, CA 92037 (@ the intersection of Fay & Silverado).
We are pleased to have Gary Laturno, Esq. ,who will speak to us on “Know Before You Owe! Dodd Frank & The New Federal Mortgage Rules.” Gary has practiced law for over 30 years, holds an AV Rating from Martindale Hubbell and has been named to “Top Lawyers in San Diego” by San Diego Magazine and “Top Lawyers in Southern California” by the Los Angeles Times for a number of years. A former FBI Chief of Civil Litigation in Washington, D. C., he supervised a staff of litigation attorneys, and personally represented several high ranking FBI officials, including the Director of the FBI.
Gary writes on legal topics and frequently presents continuing legal education programs, speaking at conferences, professional events, and national webinars on topics including real estate legal issues, estate planning and financial security, negotiation, mediation, taxation and bankruptcy law. He has co-authored “The U. S. Housing Crisis – Lessons Learned” and “Three Steps to Wealth & Financial Security – All That Glitters Isn’t Gold,” both available at amazon.com.
In addition to his professional callings as an attorney and mediator, Gary is also a California-licensed Real Estate Broker with Laturno Kuick Realty in San Diego, California. Gary is also a member of the La Jolla Bar Association.

General Information on LJBA Luncheons
The La Jolla Bar Association (LJBA), which is an approved MCLE provider, holds monthly luncheons of its members on the second Thursday of each month, except in August and December, which are reserved for the LJBA Summer Beach Party and the LJBA Holiday Party, respectively.
The MCLE luncheons are held at the Manhattan Restaurant in the historic Empress Hotel on Fay Avenue in downtown La Jolla, commencing at noon.
- Members of the LJBA may attend at no cost, other than the cost of lunch (which they are expected to purchase).
- Non-members may attend for a $20 charge plus the cost of their lunch.
