La Jolla Bar Association, May 2018 MCLE Luncheon with Heather Linn Rosing
Our next MCLE lunchtime program will be on Thursday, May 10, 2018, at 12:00 pm at the Manhattan of La Jolla restaurant (within the Empress Hotel at 7766 Fay Avenue).
We are very pleased to have attorney HEATHER LINN ROSING of the Klinedinst firm as this month’s speaker.
Ms. Rosing will present “THE TOP TEN ETHICS-RELATED RISK MANAGEMENT TIPS FOR ATTORNEYS”
This program will provide 1.0 hr CLE credit in Ethics.
Some Information about our speaker:
Heather L. Rosing is a Shareholder and Chief Financial Officer of the Klinedinst law firm. She serves as Chairperson of the firm’s Professional Liability Department; as a member of the Klinedinst Board of Directors and Executive Committee; and as one of the managing attorneys of the 130 employee firm. In addition, she previously served as the firm’s General Counsel.
Ms. Rosing is certified as a specialist in Legal Malpractice Law by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization, and has developed a nationwide reputation for her experience and skill in litigating complex malpractice and fraud cases and in advising in the areas of ethics and risk management. She has represented judges and commissioners in matters before the Commission on Judicial Performance, and advised judicial officers on matters pertaining to judicial ethics.
Ms. Rosing currently serves as President of the California Lawyers Association, and as President of the Board of Directors of the California Bar Foundation. She served on the Board of Trustees of the State Bar of California for four years, in addition to serving as an officer for two years.
