DESCRIPTION:We are very pleased to welcome as our speaker for this event: \nErin Joyce\nErin Joyce Law\, PC\n  \nThursday\, June 9\, 2022\n12:00 pm via Zoom meeting\n  \nWe are very pleased to have as our June speaker\, Pasadena Ethics Attorney Erin Joyce\, Erin Joyce Law\, PC.   \nMs. Joyce was a State Bar prosecutor for 18 years\, prior to founding her own law firm 6 years ago.  An expert in legal ethics\, Ms. Joyce has extensive experience in State Bar investigations and disciplinary proceedings\, having tried dozens of State Bar trials and several appeals. \nOur speaker will draw on her extensive experience in presenting the upcoming ETHICS presentation\, ” How to Avoid a State Bar Complaint” which is certain to provide participants with information essential to their practice.   \nThe program will provide 1.0 hr general CLE credit. \n  \nInformation about Erin Joyce\, Esq.:\n\nERIN JOYCE is a Pasadena\, California Ethics Attorney\, and a former 18-year State Bar prosecutor. Attorney Erin Joyce is an expert in legal ethics\, with extensive experience in State Bar investigations and disciplinary proceedings\, as well as 25 years of civil litigation experience. \nErin was admitted in 1990 and spent eight years practicing at an intellectual property firm before prosecuting for the State Bar from 1997 through 2016. With over 20 years of experience in attorney discipline cases\, Erin has a comprehensive understanding of how State Bar investigations and proceedings unfold. She has tried dozens of State Bar trials and several appeals. \nPrior to launching Erin Joyce Law\, Erin served the Los Angeles Fire Department as a Chief Special Investigator\, as a prosecutor for the State Bar\, and as a lawyer for private practices. In addition to fighting for her clients\, Erin contributes to the Los Angeles County Bar Association’s Professional Responsibility and Ethics Committee and its Small Firm and Sole Practitioner Section.
