DESCRIPTION:Please calendar our upcoming MCLE lunchtime program on Thursday\, February 12\, 2026 at 12:00pm\, at the Living Room Coffeehouse & Bistro\, 1205 Prospect Street in La Jolla. \nWe are very pleased to have as our February speaker\, civil trial attorney DEBORAH A. WOLFE\, Wolfe Legal Solutions PC\, who will address our members on:  “REPORTING REQUIREMENTS FOR LAWYERS UNDER RPC 8.3”\n \nMs. Wolfe\, a Certified Legal Specialist (“CLS”) in both Legal Malpractice Law (State Bar of California)\, and Civil Trial Law (National Board of Trial Advocates)\, will discuss the specifics of this Rule of Professional Conduct which took effect August 2023.  RPC 8.3 requires a lawyer to report certain types of conduct by other lawyers to the State Bar\, and it is essential that you understand this Rule to avoid its potential ethical landmines.\n \nWe hope that all of you can attend this 1.0 hour ETHICS MCLE credit program.\n\nSome Information About Our Speaker\, Doborah A Wolfe:\nDeborah Wolfe is an experienced trial attorney who has served on and chaired the State Bar of California Legal Malpractice Law Advisory Commission\, is a member of ABOTA\, has served on the Lawyers Club Board\, and the Consumer Attorneys of San Diego Board\, including serving as the CASD president. In addition to having received four Outstanding Trial Lawyer Awards from CASD\, Deborah has twice received the Trial Lawyer of the Year award from CASD. She has also received the prestigious Daniel T. Broderick\, III Award for Civility\, Integrity and Professionalism. \nIn 2025\, the East County San Diego Bar Association awarded Deborah a Lifetime Achievement Award\, and she is the 2025 inductee to the Consumer Attorneys of San Diego’s Trial Lawyer Hall of Fame. Deborah has been a member of the San Diego County Bar Association’s Legal Ethics Committee since 2006\, and recently completed her second term as its Chair.
