DESCRIPTION:We are very pleased to have as our speaker for this event\,\nGREG DORST\, J.D.; CADC II\nThursday\, July 8\, 2021 at 12:00 pm\nZoom meeting\n  \nOur speaker is GREG DORST\, J.D.; CADC II\, and Consultant to The Other Bar\,  presenting “COMPETENCY – LAWYERS\, SUBSTANCE USE DISORDERS AND WELL-BEING\,  in which he will discuss the harmful physical and mental effects of alcohol and drug abuse and addiction\, to include: \n\n\n\n\nHow do we recognize use and abuse of alcohol and other substances?\nWhy are legal professionals prone to alcohol and drug abuse and addiction?\nWhat are the impacts to family\, friends\, employers\, clients and colleagues of alcohol and drug abusers?\nWhen is it time to get professional help to intervene and preserve one’s health and career?\nWhat are available Resources for those needing assistance with use disorder problems?\nWhat role can The Other Bar can play in the recovery process?\n\n\n\n\n  \nThe program will provide 1.0 hour participatory MCLE credit for the Competence Issues requirement.
